Ingredients:  
1 stick butter (room temp)
c. shortening (room temp)
1 c. granulated sugar
c. luke warm whole milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and shortening until fluffy. Add sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Scrape down bowl. Gradually add milk. Beat for 2 to 3 minutes at high speed. Add vanilla. Beat for 1 minute. Add food coloring, if desired. Makes enough to frost
one 8" cake.
