3 – 10 ounce pkgs. Frozen asparagus spears (or about 3 ¾ lbs. fresh)
½ cup butter
½ cup slivered blanched almonds
Juice of ¾ lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Steam asparagus in small amount of salted water for 8-10 minutes or until almost tender. Drain; arrange in warm serving dish. Combine butter, almonds, and lemon juice in saucepan; heat until butter is melted. Pour over asparagus; serve immediately.

Makes 10-12 servings.
