16 slices thick cut smoked bacon
1 to 2 T. maple syrup
Brown sugar (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Place a baking rack on a sheet pan. Arrange the bacon in 1 layer on the baking rack. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the bacon begins to brown. Remove pan carefully from oven. Brush bacon with maple syrup. Sprinkle with brown sugar, if desired. Place bacon back into oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until bacon is a warm golden brown.
Transfer to a plate & serve!
