4 cups sugar
4 squares of unsweetened chocolate
4 tsp corn syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups evaporated milk
4tsp butter melted
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
add all ingredients to pan (except nuts and vanilla)mix well bring to a boil to 235 degrees Use candy thermometer, take off heat and cool for 5-10 minutes, pour into grease pan cut when completely cool.
