1 c Crisco
1 c Sugar
3 Eggs
1½ tsp Vanilla
3 c Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt

DOUBLE RECIPE:
2 c Crisco
2 c Sugar
6 Eggs
3 tsp Vanilla
6 c Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Crisco, Sugar, & Eggs, beat well.
Add Vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together, then add to mixture.
Work in the last of the sifted flour mix, with hands.
Chill before rolling out for cookies.
Sprinkle Flour on pastry board & on rolling pin, & roll out dough (also flour hands prior to working with dough).
Cut rolled dough with cookie cutters (take care not to roll dough too thin).
Bake in 375º to 400º oven, untill brown.
Place on cooling racks.
When cool, ice with Buttercream Frosting.
