Brisket - Middle Chuck
2 Tbsp oil
3 onions, diced
2 Tbsp salt, to taste
¼ tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
1 bay leaf
1½ cups of boiling water
1 Tbsp flour for thickening

Directions:
Directions:
Sear meat and oil in a heavy saucepan or dutch oven over a medium-high flame, covered until brown. Add the onions and continue browning. Then add the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and bay leaf; stir once over then pour the boiling water on it. Cover it and cook it over a low flame for two hours or until meat is tender.

Mix the flour with a little water and stir it into the gravy. Cook for ten more minutes. Remove the bay leaf.

When the meat has cooled down, slice it against the grain and pour on the gravy.
