1 can pumpkin (2 cups)
1 cup cooking oil
2 cups of flour
2 cups of sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon


Ingredients for frosting:
1 stick of oleo
3 oz. pkg cream cheese
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oil and pumpkin, then add other ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased jelly roll and and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool and frost with cream frosting. Cut into bars.

This recipe came from a friend of my mothers over 35 years ago. This is a way to quench that desire for something pumpkin- flavored without making a pumpkin pie.
