4 qt. thin sliced pickling cucumbers ( 16 cups)
1 qt. sliced onion
⅓ c. coarse pickle salt
5 c.sugar
2 T. mustard seed
1½ tsp. Turmeric
3 c. cider vinegar
Ice cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cucumbers and onions in large bowl. Add salt and cover with ice cubes. Mix well and let stand for 3 hours. Drain well. Combine sugar, mustard seed, turmeric, and vinegar. Pour over vegetable that were place in a large stock pan. Bring just to a boil. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
