3 eggs
5 tbsp sugar
Pinch of salt
4 Tbsp wine or 3 Tbsp whisky + 1 tbsp water
4 Tbsp oil
2 ½ cups of flour
Confectionery sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients until it becomes a soft dough. Consistently softer then challah. Sprinkle flour and roll out dough thinly. Cut into 1 x 4” strips. Cut slits in the center and twist. Fry in oil. Remove when golden. Drain excess oil. When cool sprinkle with confectionery sugar.

Bubby's Tip: Allow dough to rest 15 minutes before frying.
Bubby's Tip: Dough can be frozen in plastic bags ahead of time
