1 tbsp plus 1 cup butter
1 ½ c coarsely chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 can sweetened cond, milk
¼ cup water
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 13 x9 pan with foil and butter with 1 T butter.
In a heavy saucepan melt 1 cup butter, add sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook till boils, stir in milk. Bring to boil stirring constantly till candy thermometer reads 248º (firm ball stage) add vanilla. pour into prepared pan. Do not scape saucepan. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips. Cool completely before cutting about 3 hours.
