Ingredients:
Ingredients:
9 c. rolled oats
3/4 c. honey
3/4 c. peanut oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat oil & honey but do not boil. You may wish to use some molasses with the honey. Cinnamon is also good. Any oil can be used except olive oil or butter because they burn so easily. In a large bowl pour oil & honey over oats. Stir. Bake in large flat baking dish. Stir every 15 minutes or more often as it begins to brown. It is done when evenly brown but not too brown as it browns a bit more before it cools. Baking takes about an hour. When cool, add any of the following: sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, shredded coconut, all kinds of nuts and any dried fruit.

From Lorei
This recipe is our own. It is still a bit rough, so feel free to experiment. It was our attempt to replace store-bought cereal that is so expensive. We like it, but still have a large cereal bill. .. such is life.

Granola comes and goes in popularity at our house. Liking simplicity, I adjusted my recipe for even measure. It can be reduced or expanded to your liking.
Tip: You will find it easier when using honey or molasses to first coat a measuring cup with oil. It will then pour out easily.
