1 1/2 C. flour
2 1/2 t. baking powder
1/4 C. shortening
1 egg
3/4 C. sugar
3/4 t. salt
3/4 C. milk

Topping:
1/3 C. brown sugar packed
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 C. flour
3 T. firm butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Grease layer pan (8-9"). Blend all ingredients and beat vigorously 1/2 min. Spread in
pan.

Topping:
Mix together till crumbly. Sprinkle on top and bake 25-30 min. in 375 degree oven till toothpick inserted into
center comes out clean. I usually double the recipe and bake in 9"x13" cake pan.
