1 c. Yellow cornmeal
c. self rising flour
1 tsp. kosher salt
tsp. cayenne pepper
tsp. smoked paprika
small onion, grated
c. chives, chopped
lb. cooked shrimp, chopped
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg, beaten
c. cheddar cheese, grated
peanut oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oil in fryer to 350. Mix all ingredients in bowl. Drop heaping tbsp. sized amounts into hot oil. Fry 2-3 minutes. Remove to paper towel to drain. Serve with Onion dip.
