1 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in order given. The dough will be thick. Chill before rolling out and cut with a cookie cutter. Sprinkle each cookie with sugar before baking or ice with Confectioner's Sugar Icing.

.2 cups confectioner's sugar
salt
vanilla
water

Directions:
Directions:
Add a small amount of boiling water to 2 cups powdered sugar for spreading consistency. Add a dash of salt and 1 tsp vanilla. Tint with food coloring to desired color. (The boiling water makes the icing glossy.) Milk may be used in place of the boiling water
