2 cups sugar
3/4 c white Karo syrup
2 tbsp cold water
1 tsp soda
2 cups raw (unroasted) peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Place the above ingredients, except peanuts and soda, in a sauce pan and cook until it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water. Add 2 cups raw peanuts and cook until the peanuts pop and the syrup has the slightest yellow tinge. Stir while cooking and when done, remove from the stove and add 1 tsp soda. Stir well and pour immediately into buttered jelly roll pans. Allow the candy to stand as it is poured from the pan and do not stir or pat. When cool, break into suitable pieces for serving.
