2 cups pickling salt
24 cups water
8 cups white vinegar (NOT pickling)
Cucumbers
Garlic cloves
Fresh dill
Alum

Directions:
Directions:
Boil pickling salt, water, and vinegar. Pour over cucumbers that are washed and packed into sterile jars with garlic, fresh dill, and ½ tsp alum. Cook at 250º for 20 minutes. Carefully remove and let sit, undisturbed, until completely cool and the lids have "popped". Store in cool room.

110 lbs cucumbers = 108 jars of pickles (12 garlic cloves, 14 L vinegar, 2 ½ boxes of salt (5 kg), 4 - 65 g alum)
