1 egg
3/4 c. soft bread crumbs (1 slice of bread)
1/4 c. chili sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp instant minced onion
1/8 tsp garlic powder
3/4 lb ground beef
1/4 c. minced celery
2 tbsp Butter Flavor Crisco
Bottled barbecue sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg in medium bowl. Mix in bread crumbs, chili sauce, salt, onion, garlic powder, ground beef and celery. Shape into 30 small balls about 1 inch in diameter. Melt butter flavor Crisco in large skillet on medium heat. Add meatballs and brown on all sides. Continue cooking until done, about 12 minutes, including browning.

Warm barbecue sauce while meatballs cook. Serve meatballs on wooden picks and dip into warm sauce.

Uncooked meatballs may be made a day ahead and refrigerated. Freeze for longer storage.
Cooked meatballs may be frozen and reheated in preheated 400º oven for 7 minutes.
