4 large eggs lightly beaten
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
tsp.salt
1 lb. orange candy slices finely sliced into thin slices

Icing:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp. soft butter
2 tbsp. grated orange peel
orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs in large bowl with mixer. Add in rest of ingredients, mix until well blended. Spread into greased 13 x 9 inch pan lined with wax paper. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes on a rack. Turn pan over onto a cutting board and spread well with icing.

Icing:
Mix together powdered sugar, butter, orange peel and just enough orange juice to make mixture spreadable. Spread onto candy. Cut into pieces and store tightly closed.

This recipe was given to Judy by Mama in the late 70's. I can remember Mama loved those candied orange slices.
