4 c flour
2 T granulated sugar
1/2 t salt
2 packages Rapid Rise Yeast
1 c water
1/4 c Dijon mustard
2 T oleo
1 1/2 c chopped cooked ham (ok to use Turkey Ham)
1 c swiss cheese chopped
1/2 dill pickle chopped
1 egg beaten
boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Set aside 1 c flour.
2. Mix remaining flour, sugar, salt, yeast.
3. Heat water, mustard and oleo in sauce pan.
4. Pour over flour mixture and mix in enough reserved flour to make soft dough.
5. Knead 4 minutes.
6. On greased baking sheet, roll dough to 14" X 12".
7. Sprinkle ham, cheese and pickle down 'center' third of dough length.
8. Make cuts from filling to dough edges at 1" intervals along both sides of filling.
9. Braid strips all the way up closing in filling center - pinching closed.
10. Place over boiling water in pot and let rise 15 minutes.
11. Brush loaf with egg. Bake @ 375º 25 minutes.

You can increase ham to 1 lb - bake 35 minutes.
