2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
tsp. salt
tsp. baking soda
tsp. baking powder
cup cocoa
cup Crisco or margarine
1 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Filling:
⅓ cup evaporated milk
⅔ cup Crisco
cup sugar
tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425

Sift flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa into a bowl. Add margarine, vanilla, milk and egg and blend.

Drop by tbsp. onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 5-7 minutes. Cool.

Filling:
Cream evaporated milk, Crisco, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes or until doubled. Spread filling on one cookie and cover with another cookie.
