3 qt. popped corn
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup Karo syrup (light or dark)
½ cup butter
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250ºF

Place popped corn in a large roasting pan and place in oven to keep warm.

In a heavy 2-qt. sauce pan stir brown sugar, corn syrup, salt and butter. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat. Without stirring, boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and baking soda.

Pour over warm popcorn and stir to coat well.

Bake for 1 hour stirring several times.

Remove from oven and transfer to another large roasting pan and stir until cooled.

I found this recipe on a Karo syrup bottle. I made it and everyone loved it. At our house it has become a tradition to make it at Christmas
