PEACH GRUNT Pre-heat oven to 375° Bake approx 45 Minutes

Combine:
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Flour
1 Tsp Baking Powder
˝ Tsp Salt

Add:
1 Cup Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla

Beat on low speed until blended.

Spread a generous layer of sliced fresh peaches on the bottom of any baking dish. Sprinkle with about 1 Tbl. sugar. Carefully pour batter over peaches. Dot with butter. Bake at 375° for approx 45 minutes or until a toothpick or cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.

Optional: You can also add any of the following: Canned peaches or fruit cocktail, etc., other fresh or canned fruit or combination of fruits.

Note: There are approximately 3 Sm/Med peaches in 1 lb.
“Cake” is crispy on top the day it is baked but softens over night.
