2/3 c. cooking oil
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
2/3 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. pumpkin puree
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts or golden raisins

Preheat oven 300

Cream together cooking oil, sugar and eggs. Mix together baking soda, cold water and pumpkin. Add both mixes together. Mix in remaining ingredients.

Bake for 1 hour in well greased loaf pans or 1 lb coffee can (4). Let cool completely in pan.

Freeze: when cooled put back into cans and replace lids (wrap in wax paper)
