4 large potatoes
4 tbsp. butter
1 small onion, diced
2 tbsp. flour
⅛ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 ¼ c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Peel, wash and thinly slice potatoes. Place them in a pot of salted, boiling water until tender. Drain and lay in a greased casserole dish. Meanwhile in a large frying pan melt the butter and saute the onion until cooked. Add salt & pepper and the flour. Stir to mix. Whisk in the milk and heat, whisking constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and pour over potatoes. Bake for 20 minutes.
