1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 tbsp all-purpose flour

Preheat oven 400

In a large bowl, put flour, baking powder and salt. Stir thoroughly, making well in the center.

In another bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg until quite smooth. Mix in milk and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients. Stir just to moisten. Batter will be lumpy.

Lightly stir blueberries with 1 tablespoon flour. Fold into batter. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake for 25 minutes until nicely browned.
