Ingredients:  
2 c. of shortening
2 c. of sugar
4 eggs
5 c. of flour
4 tsp. of cream of tartar
2 tsp. of baking soda
1 tsp. of salt

4 T. of sugar
2 T. of cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400.
Cream together shortening and sugar. Mix well.
Add eggs and mix.
In separate bowl, sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.
Add to cream mixture.
Roll mixture into small balls.
Mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls in this.
Place 2 in. apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 7 to 8 minutes.
