1/2 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup (1 1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1 pkg (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1-1/2 cups marshmallow cream
1/2 cup pecan pieces (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Combine sugar, milk and butter or margarine In a large, heavy saucepan, heat to boiling. Stir constantly about 5 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 238ºF, remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients and stir vigorously until blinded. Pour onto 13x9x2 inch pan. Cool, cut into squares store in tightly closed container.
