Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

2 c. sugar
6 T. flour
1 t. salt
5 c. milk
6 eggs
4 c. half - n half
3 T. vanilla
ice
rock salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour and salt. Mix milk and eggs until well blended. Stir in dry ingredients.

Cook over low heat stirring constantly until it thickens and coats a spoon (about 30-35) minutes

DO NOT BOIL

Cover mixture with wax paper and cool for about 2 hours in refrigerator.

Pour half-n-half, vanilla and cooled custard in ice cream freezer.

Freeze for 35-45 minutes.
