2 c. flour 1 t. salt 2 t. sugar 2/3 c. + 2 T. lard 4-5 T. cold water
Measure flour and salt in bowl. Cut in shortening. Sprinkle in water 1 T. at a time. Gather in a ball and flatten around on lightly floured cloth covered board. Roll dough 2 inches larger than pie pan.
Fold into quarters, unfold and ease into pie pan. Prick bottom and sides thoroughly with fork.
