5-6 lb bone in prime rib roast, preferably chined and tied
enough olive oil to cover the roast
Spade L ranch beef rub, or your favorite, to rub roast with

Pecan wood pellets, or a combination of Hickory pellets in a pellet grill

Rub the roast with olive oil and Spade L or your own rub. wrap tightly in plastic. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours, ideally 48 hours. Bring to room temperature for at least 2 hours before cooking. Start pellet grill and get to 500º or High. Fat side down for 15 minutes, turn and other side for 15 minutes. Turn pellet grill down to 190º and using an instant read thermometer cook to (125º rare, 132º medium, 160º well done), remove and cover for at least 30 minutes.
