sliced white bread, buttered on one side
1 to 1 1/2 lbs browned sausage
2 1/2 c grated cheddar cheese
1 dozen eggs
1 can evaporated milk
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread buttered side up in glass baking dish (9x13) (No need to remove crusts)
Cook and drain sausage, sprinkle over top of buttered bread
Sprinkle grated cheese over sausage
Combine eggs with salt & pepper - beat well
Pour over cheese
Pour evaporated milk over egg mixture

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night
Next morning, remove wrap and place casserole in cold oven (if oven is preheated, the glass dish can break)
Turn on oven to 350º
Bake 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean

Let sit at least 15 minutes before cutting
