¼ cup white Karo corn syrup
⅔ cup sugar
3 tablespoons water
⅛ teaspoon cream of tartar
¼ teaspoon salt
flavoring such as vanilla, almond extract, etc.

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a double boiler over simmering water.

Beat on high speed while cooking.

As the name indicates, the mixture should be glossy, thick, and gorgeous in 7 minutes.
