3 c soft bread crumbs
3 c cornbread, crumbled
1/4 c margarine
1/4 c onion, chopped
1/4 c rendered turkey fat (can sub 1/2 c melted butter)
1/2 c celery, diced
1 tsp salt
1/4 rsp pepper
3/4 tsp poultry seasoning (or sage)
1 egg, beaten
1-2 c chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Cut butter into very small pieces and mix with cornbread and bread crumbs.
Heat fat (or sub butter) in a heavy skillet, add veggies & saute. Add to bread mixture. Next add sesonings, mix well.
Add beaten eggs; sprinkle cooled broth over top, stirring lightly until dressing is of desired moistness.
Gently spoon into greased baking dish. Bake at 350º for about 1 hour, adding extra broth if needed to keep moist.

This recipe is from my ex-MIL who always said she was a horrible cook, but I'm pretty sure we always had seconds of whatever she made.
