2 cups applesauce
1 cup sugar
½ cup butter or margarine
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves
½ cup broken nuts
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Put applesauce in a pan and heat. Add sugar and butter. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves and sift. Beat flour mixture into applesauce then add nuts and raisins. Pour into a greased and floured 6½ x 9 inch pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350 ºF. Can serve with or without icing.
