1 ½ cups flour
¾ cup soft butter
⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup finely chopped pecans or almonds
icing sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Add flour and mix well. Stir in nuts. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Do not flatten. 
Bake at 340º F. for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Roll warm cookies in icing sugar. Cool on racks and then roll cooled cookies in icing sugar again.
*Warning: these burn very easily.
