Prime rib roast
garlic powder
onion powder
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 500º. Season roast with garlic and onion powder, salt the fat only. bake for 15 minutes (set time). reduce oven to 350º (do not open oven door.)

1. 15 minutes a pound = rare
2. 20 minutes a pound = medium
3. 30 minutes a pound = well done

Let roast cool at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before slicing meat.
*include 15 minutes @ 500º in baking time.

Great Uncle John Barson was a cook at Prestie's in Oberlin, Ohio and claimed his secret to a perfect roast was using just a bit of garlic salt.
