8 Cups chopped Rhubarb
2 Quarts water

2 cups sugar
½ cup lemon juice
1 3oz pkg strawberry jello
2 cups voldka

Seltzer water or sprite to mix

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rhubarb in water until tender.
Strain it, and take the hot liquid and mix it with sugar, lemon juice, jello and Vodka.

Freeze mixture. when ready to serve, scoop slush into a glass and top with sparkling water or soda of your choice.

This is a recipe from Grandma Jennie. Grandma Karen also makes a version of this. It is a midwestern favorite summer cocktail.
