2 pounds carrots, cut into sticks
c. butter
c. packed brown sugar
t. salt
⅛ t. white pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place carrots into saucepan and add 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 8 - 10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.
2. In the same pan, combine butter, brown sugar, salt, and white pepper. Cook and stir until butter is melted.
3. Return carrots to the pan. Cook and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes or until glazed.
4. Enjoy!

This is one of Maddie's favorite dishes and it has become an Easter staple. I can't imagine Easter without this, Grandma Helene's pineapple dressing, Grandma Barb's Easter bread, Sarah's deviled eggs, Gigi's beet salad, Jacqui's green beans, and Aunt Thelma's cheesecake!
