Per quart:
Cucumbers
Salt
½ brown sugar
½ white sugar
1 quart of vinegar
1 tbs mixed spices (rounded)

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers, wipe dry. Soak cucumbers in salted water for 24 hours (add enough salt to float an egg). Take out of brine and wipe dry. Cut into ½ inch slices. In medium saucepan add sugars to vinegar and spices. Bring mixture to boil for 10 minutes. Put cucumbers in mixture and bring to a boil and then turn off heat. Pack juice and cucumbers in jars and seal.
