2 rounds pita bread
1/2 head romaine lettuce, torn
1 cucumber, peeled and diced
4 large tomatoes, diced
1 bunch green onions, diced
1/4 c fresh mint, minced


Dressing:
1/4 c fresh lemon juice
1/2 c vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp each salt, pepper
2 Tbs ground sumac seasoning

Directions:

Preheat oven to 250º. Split pita bread and bake in oven til crisp, 8-10 minutes, Break into 1 inch pieces.

In a salad bowl combine veggies and mint.

Whisk dressing ingredients until well blended.

Add pita chips and dress salad just before serving.

We all love fattoush salad. Our favorite restaurant also adds a little chopped dill pickle to the salad-wonderful!
Throw some grilled chicken on top for a meal.
