3 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 egg whites
1 cup corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
In one small pan - mix 1 cup sugar and ½ cup water. Cook to 240 degrees then pour in a thin thread over 2 egg whites (warm bowl).

In another pan - mix 3 cups sugar, 1 cup syrup and cook to 252 ºF. Pour into first mixture real slow using an electric mixer, add vanilla. Beat in nuts if you wish and spoon onto waxed paper.
