Ingredients:  
Two ponds beef (soup bones, oxtail, or chuck roast)
salt, pepper, garlic salt to taste
Two to three quarts of water
One cup rice,noodles, macaroni or chopped potatoes
Choices of vegetables: one can stewed or diced tomatoes, one chopped onion, celery and carrots chopped (1-2 cups), frozen corn, beans, peas
to one teaspoon each garlic, thyme, marjoram, parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef in soup pot with small amount of oil, salt, pepper, garlic salt.
Add water and simmer for two hours.
Using a slotted spoon, remove bones/meat from broth.
Cool, and cut into bite size pieces..
While bones are cooling, add rice, noodles, macaroni or potatoes and your choice of vegetables.
Add spices and meat; simmer until veggies are tender (45 minutes to an hour).
