Bread Pudding:

3 ½ Cups of Half & Half
½ Cup of Bourbon
3 TBS Butter
2 Cups of Sugar
1 loaf of French Bread
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 cup of raisins (optional)

Sauce:

1 cup of sugar
6 TBS melted butter
½ cup of buttermilk
1 TBS of bourbon
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 TBS white Karo
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bread Pudding:

In a 3-qt casserole dish, combine Half & Half, bourbon, butter, and sugar

Crumble bread into mixture and refrigerate for several hours, stirring occasionally

Fold in Vanilla and Raisins.

Bake at 350-degrees for about 1 hour or until top of pudding becomes very crusty.

Sauce:

In a saucepan, mix all ingredients, bring to a boil for 1 minute, serve warm
