1 pkg. (14 oz) caramels
2/3 cup Evaporated Milk, divided
1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix
¾ cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped nuts
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels


Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, combine caramels and 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until candy has melted. Set aside.

In mixing bowl, combine remaining evaporated milk, dry cake mix, melted butter and chopped nuts.
Press half the mixture into a greased & floured 9X12” pan. Mixture will be doughy. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 6 mins.

Remove pan from oven and sprinkle chocolate morsels over baked crust. Spread caramel mixture over the chocolate & crumble remaining dough over top.

Return pan to over and bake 15 mins. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Refrigerate for 30 mins. to set caramel. Cut into squares.
