1 1/2 cups unbleached flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
2 Tablespoons cold butter or lard
1/2 cup milk, cold
1 - 2 teaspoons coarse salt (optional for salted tops)

Directions:
Directions:
Put first 5 ingredients into Cuisinart and chop butter till grainy. Add milk all at once. Process until mixture rolls into ball. Turn out on floured surface. Knead 5 - 10 times. Roll out as thin as possible ( 1/8 - 1/16"). Cut into diagonals, squares or whatever. Prick each cracker 5 or 6 times with a fork. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheets at 350 for 10 minutes until edges are golden. Turn with a spatula.
