2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder or 1 1/2 teaspoons low sodium baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 Tablespoon caraway or anise seeds
3/4 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Stir dry ingredients. Mix in well the buttermilk. Knead 1 dozen times. Spread bottom of pan with cornmeal. Flatten ball in 7" diameter in pan. Cut with sharp knife. Bake at 400 for 50 minutes.
