1 cup boiling water
1 cup raisins
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg - beaten
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp butter - melted

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 2 loaf pans. Pour the boiling water over the raisins and the baking soda. Let cool. Mix the sugar egg, flour, vanilla and butter. Mix with the water and raisins. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
