12 egg whites
1 teaspoons cream of tarter
1⅛ cups sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla
teaspoon almond extract
1 cup cake flour
cup powdered sugar
teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Let egg whites warm to room temperature. Beat egg white until frothy. Beat in cream of tarter, continue beating until egg whites peak, but are not dry. Gradually beat in sugar. Beat well between additions. Slowly beat in vanilla and almond extract. Sift together flour, powder sugar and salt. Slowly add mixture with sifter and gradually fold in. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Cake is done when it spring back when touched in cracks. Cool upside down.
