12 egg yolks
1 egg white
9 tablespoons boiling water
1 cup cake flour
1 cup sugar
teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar and teaspoon salt -- three times. Beat egg yolks and egg white until light yellow. Add 3 tablespoons of boiling water and ⅛ mixture of flour, sugar and salt. Repeat three times, beating well during and after each addition. Sift together cup flour and baking powder, fold in. Fold in vanilla. Bake at 325 for 60 minutes, then 10 minutes at 300. Cool upside down.
