1/4 c water
3 lb. roast
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg dry onion soup mix

Directions:
Directions:
Put 1/4 cup of water in crock pot. Place roast in crock pot. Spread condensed cream of mushroom soup on top of the roast. Sprinkle dry soup mix on top of mushroom soup. Let it cook all day, without lifting lid until you are about ready to serve. Remove the roast and there should be a nice gravy left in the pan. - if you want the gravy thinner, add a little water.

If putting a frozen roast in crockpot, cook on low for 10 hours. Adjust the heat or cooking time if using a thawed roast.
